  For those who missed it, here you are , the twenty-four minute behind the scenes video of Karl Lagerfeld’s shoot for the 2011 Pirelli calendar where all of the best favourite models (and Julianne Moore) portray ancient Greek and Roman gods. The calendar itself (where nudity is abundant) is not the tasteless, raunchy mess we have seen in the years previous thanks to (in the words of Abbey Lee Kershaw ) “the Einstein of high fashion” alias Karlito! She and other model beauties such as Brad Kroening have a good amount of interview time to swoon over, as well.  What is tremondsly well done is the transposition between fashion and mythology, Abbey Lee Kershaw is the Nymph Echo, Anja Rubik is playing Hermès and Terpsichore, Bianca Balti is a Bacchante, Garrett Neff is Bachus, Daria Werbowy is Artemis and also Penthesilia, Elisa Sednaoui is Flora, Erin Wasson as Ajax,  Apollo and Narcissus are figured by Baptiste Giabiconi ( Karl's chouchou) Zeus by Brad Koening (ex chouchou), Heidi Mount is Amphitrite, Iris Strubegger as Athena, Jake Davies is interpreting Achilles,  Aphrodite is played by Lara Stone , Julianne Moore is Hera , Natacha Poly is Melpomene, Freja Beha Erichsen is also playing a version of Apollo; Jeneil Williams as Hades, Magdalena Frackowiak is Hestia and finally Sebastien is Mars...

Maxi Mega Potin BOUM MEDIA MAJEUR...alors que le célèbre photographe conceptuel américain David Lachapelle a décidé de stopper net son travail sur les célébrités (on se souvient du fameux Artist and Prostitutes). On apprend que le photographe est devenu fermier oui oui j'ai bien dit fermier à Hawai ...ça méritait bien une mini retrospective. (la photo d'Isabella Blow coursant Alexander Mc Queen est bien evidemment mythique!)
